I have been working in the child care field for almost thirty years and am licensed as a Small Family Child Care Home (6-8 children) by the State of California Department of Social Services. My license number is 334807062. I have an AA Degree in Early Childhood Education and have been awarded a Child Development Master Teacher Permit. Additionally, I attend approximately forty hours per year of professional growth classes in order to stay up to date with knowledge in my field. As per California state guidelines, I stay current on my infant/child CPR and first aid certification, and have been fingerprinted and FBI background checked.
I come from a family of educators; my father is a retired teacher, my mother is a retired principal, and my brother currently works as a special education teacher. The value and importance of education has been taught to me since I was a child. I consider it a lifelong commitment to keep learning and adapting in order to provide the best possible care for the children in my program.
